Jill Slaney
BIOGRAPHY
Originally from the Island,26yr old Jill Slaney is super new to this music thing, and is learning as she goes along. Not having any formal musical training, vocal, or instrumental, has made for an interesting and fun experimentation of her musical skills. Andrew Pike lended his acoustic expertise to this little project, and deserves alot of credit in helping to make this record happen:)

Compass(2009)
A "Compass" is defined as a navigational instrument for determining direction. I felt that it was only natural to title the album this way, especially since we all feel like we need one sometimes. My feelings in the songs reflect stuff i've gone through,and observed, and the message i wanted to project is basically, that no matter what happens, you'll find your way:)
